Former Iowa Hawkeye Dallas Clark will retire from the NFL as an Indianapolis Colt, the team announced today on their website.
Clark will join Jeff Saturday as the only player to re-sign with the Colts to retire with the team. He was with the Colts from 2003-2011. He was with Tampa Bay in 2012 and Baltimore in 2013.
Clark was a walk-on with the Iowa Hawkeyes as a linebacker before moving to tight end. As a Junior in 2002 he won the John Mackey Award as the nation's best tight end and was named to several All America teams. He left after his Junior season to enter the NFL.
His NFL stats include 505 receptions, 5,665 yards, and 53 touchdowns. He was a member of the Colts' 2006 Super Bowl Championship team.
