Iowa basketball player, and former Valley High School standout Peter Jok has been charged with driving with a revoked license, a serious misdemeanor.
Jok pleaded guilty to OWI on May 2nd after an arrest on April 26th for driving his moped while under the influence of alcohol.
Iowa Director of Athletics Gary Barta released the following statement:
“Fran and I were made aware of the incident involving Peter Jok and a moped this morning. We don’t yet know all the facts, but we are gathering those today. I’m very disappointed to learn about this, especially in light of the fact that Peter had a previous incident earlier this summer. We will work through this in accordance to our student-athlete Code of Conduct and team rules.”
