Larry Collmus, Triple Crown Track Announcer for NBC Sports and voice of the New York Racing Association at Belmont Park and Saratoga, rejoins the show this week to talk with Emery Songer and John Hernandez. The discussion revolves around Triple Crown winner Justify’s retirement and what needs to happen in the second half of the year for the 3-year-olds to keep the very casual horse racing fans engaged. They also chat about Whitney Stakes winner Diversify and his rising stock as he points towards the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
Other topics of the week include recaps of the West Virginia Derby and the Whitney Stakes as well as a look ahead to the Travers Stakes coming up later this month.
