This week on Horse Racing Talk, Emery Songer and John Hernandez review the premature end to the two-year-old seasons of top colts Instagrand and Roadster and chat about Good Magic skipping the Breeders' Cup.
Two huge races highlight the action this weekend at Parx in Pennsylvania. The Cotillion is a $1 million Grade I race for three-year-old fillies and Monomoy Girl looks to continue her dominance over her division but faces the deepest field she's seen since the Kentucky Oaks. The guys interview her trainer Brad Cox about the race and his thoughts heading into Saturday.
Parx Track Announcer Keith Jones also joins the show to handicap both the Cotillion and the Pennsylvania Derby, which serves as the final tune-up for the Breeders' Cup for the three-year-old colts.
