Jason Smith and Mike Harmon react to the notion that Anthony Edwards is the next face of the NBA. The guys look at the comparison between Edwards and Michael Jordan and debate whether or not this could be a real thing!
Jason Smith: “Everybody is trying so hard to make Anthony Edwards superstar happen. He is Michael Jordan, he is this or that, HE’S BEING MAC JONESED! Yeah Anthony Edwards is a fantastic player, but all of the sudden he’s Michael Jordan... NO let’s just stop”
Mike Harmon: “LeBron’s getting older so the NBA really needs to push faces of the game, especially with new blood in the conference finals. It either happens or it doesn’t, you either want to watch or you don’t, can’t make you watch can’t make you care...It’s not going to happen overnight and the oversell gets a bit nauseating!”
