Rob Parker: Pacers will WIN Game 7

Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington debate over who will win Game 7 of the NBA Finals and why. Rob is standing on business, continuing to believe in his Pacers winning the title pick, while Kelvin still believes OKC will get the job done because they are too talented and at home.

Rob Parker:

"It was supposed to be a crowing for OKC Thunder. The Pacers with their gimpy star Tyrese Haliburton, and even though it was in Indiana, most people thought this is just the inevitable. And instead, the Pacers didn't just win, they demolished them. I think the Thunder had the wrong mindset. They just weren't ready for this game for whatever reason. And that's why you got all the NBA minions talking about this league is so rigged and fixed. Because it just looks like, how did they go from getting beat down the game before to you know the Pacers all of a sudden having a 22 point lead at halftime, and they maintained it. And Haliburton didn't go crazy. What did he have? 14? Of course, they didn't have to play him a lot of minutes. They're up 22 points most of the game, but now here we are. I've said this before. I picked the Pacers in six. And my whole thing was, they just looked like a team of destiny because of the way that this whole ride has been. And coming back when they should be counted out and what not, and now here they are with their magical guy in Haliburton, who didn't have to play a million minutes to just survive to win that game so he's not burnt out. And then they have off till Sunday, you know even though it's on the road. I feel more confident than ever that they're going to win."

Kelvin Washington:

"Here's where the Thunder went wrong. You've done this before. It's a beautiful Summer day You can smell the food, the barbecues there. They start to smell the champagne. They almost tasted it. They could already see the balloons getting ready to drop. And they got in there and just thought, man we got to show up and do what we do and we're automatically going to win. And they forgot the Pacers have been a desperate team that has fought all year. That has come back multiple times and that was not going to just lay down. And they got in there already tasted the champagne and thinking all we got to do is show up and we'll be fine. And that was not the case. And the worst case scenario has happened. They gave the Pacers starters a lot of rest in particular Tyrese Haliburton. TJ McConnell had another game where he played very well. Nembhard also played great, so you got the guys who will be playing bigger minutes in place of Haliburton playing very well and confident. Haliburton got to play well enough and only played 22 minutes and he gets an extra day off. If you're SGA this is what you are the MVP for. SGA needs to show why he's the MVP. He didn't play well, and he needs to show them what's up."
