Colin Cowherd: âChiefs fans probably saw the headline âPatriots home winning streak snapped at 21â and were like âYEA! I FEEL GREAT ABOUT THAT!â... Kansas City, that wasnât one of those wins that makes you think you can go into Baltimore or back into Foxboro to win. That wasnât pretty and it made me MORE concerned about the Chiefs. You scored three points in the second half and didnât adjust. You better do that against John Harbaugh or Belichick in the playoffs. By the way, you had a punt blocked, you had several officiating gaffes go your way, and you canât run the football at all. Kansas City won last night, but situationally, they were a mess. Iâll Iâm thinking last night is youâre Oklahoma or Oregon with Chip Kelly⌠Youâre fun but you canât stop anybody.â (Full Video Above)
Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he wasnât impressed with the Kansas City Chiefs Week 14 road win at Foxboro that broke the Patriotsâ 21-game home winning streak in New England.
The victory clinched the AFC West for the Chiefs and brought them to within one game of the Patriots for the no. 2 seed in the conference, but Colin doesnât have a lot of hope in this Chiefs team come playoffs when they will likely have to travel to Baltimore or and perhaps back to New England for a rematch. The Patriots end the season with a road game in Cincinnati, and two home games versus the Bills and Dolphins.
Despite the win, the Chiefs only mustered 3 points in the second half and Patrick Mahomes finished with just a 40.5 QBR game; his lowest of the season. Kansas City's running game was miserable as well, rushing 29 times for 75 yards (2.6 YPC).
Check out the video above as Colin details why the only thing the Chiefs proved in Week 14 is that they can't win the AFC.
