KXnO FANTASY CAMP MOCK DRAFT 2.0!

Tyler Allen

Co-host, Producer, KXnO Fantasy Camp

My favorite part of mock drafting is how wrong it can be…and how much people will tell you about it. For instance, Packers fans are delighted that my prognostication has turned out to be woefully inaccurate. But Russell Wilson DID go to another team. Post-combine and blockbuster trades (including Wentz and Amari Cooper!), how does the 2022 NFL Draft shake out? Let’s take a look!

1. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (Needs: OT, EDGE, WR, OG, DT)

OT Evan Neal, Alabama

Jags make the smart decision to upgrade Lawrence’s protection.

2. DETROIT LIONS (Needs: WR, QB, LB, EDGE, S)

EDGE Aidan Hutchinson, Michigan

A blue collar, in-state, fan favorite here? Dan Campbell says, ‘Yes, please!’

3. HOUSTON TEXANS (Needs: EDGE, CB, WR, S, QB)

EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux, Oregon

Houston has a lot of options and a lot of holes. They go with the surest bet available.

4. NEW YORK JETS (Needs: CB, S, LB, EDGE, TE)

S Kyle Hamilton, Notre Dame

Jets would be crazy not to get this game-changing DB here.

5. NEW YORK GIANTS (Needs: WR, DT, S, RB, CB)

WR Jameson Williams, Alabama

Williams caught a lot of eyes at the combine. Giants get a great weapon for Daniel Jones.

6. CAROLINA PANTHERS (Needs: QB, OT, OC, OG, RB)

QB Malik Willis, Liberty

Panthers will jump at a potential superstar and franchise leader.

7. NEW YORK GIANTS (Needs: SEE PICK 5)

CB Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner, Cincinnati

Gardner is the best CB in this class, and the Giants will happily add him to a young D.

8. ATLANTA FALCONS (Needs: EDGE, WR, RB, CB, DT)

EDGE Travon Walker, Georgia

Falcons stick with defense here, and grab Walker on his way up draft boards.

9. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (Needs: QB, LB, OT, CB, DT, OC)

QB Matt Corral, Mississippi

Don’t sleep on Seattle trading up for Willis, but they’ll take Corral as consolation.

10. NEW YORK JETS (Needs: SEE PICK 4)

EDGE George Karlaftis, Purdue

Adding this disruptive force to a young DL is a recipe for success.

11. WASHINGTON COMMANDERS (Needs: QB, TE, OG, S, CB)

QB Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh

WSH gets Wentz for a steal and Pickett sits behind him for a year.

12. BALTIMORE RAVENS (from Minnesota) (Needs: OT, CB, DT, OG, WR)

OC Tyler Linderbaum, Iowa

Ravens trade up to insure they get the best interior lineman available.

13. CLEVELAND BROWNS (Needs: WR, DT, EDGE, OG, LB)

DT Jordan Davis, Georgia

After trading for Amari Cooper, Browns shift focus to D and land a great player.

14. MINNESOTA VIKINGS (from BAL) (Needs: CB, DT, QB, LB, S)

CB Trent McDuffie, Washington

Vikings still get a CB they want, and McDuffie has raised his stock.

15. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (Needs: CB, LB, S, TE, WR)

WR Treylon Burks, Arkansas

Hard to tell what PHI does here with so much capital, but Burks is a rising star.

16. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (Needs: SEE PREVIOUS PICK)

CB Derek Stingley Jr, LSU

Eagles fill a need here if they stay put; Stingley is a great fit.

17. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (Needs: DT, TE, OG, RB, CB)

OG Kenyon Green, Texas A&M

With Davis gone, Chargers upgrade protection for Herbert on the O line.

18. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (Needs: WR, DT, S, RB, CB)

WR Drake London, USC

Dennis Allen won’t panic and grab a QB this year, but gets a weapon for whoever is under center.

19. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (SEE PREVIOUS PICKS FOR NEEDS)

LB Devin Lloyd, Utah

Eagles seem to be sticking with Hurts at QB and go with defense here.

20. PITTSBURGH STEELERS (needs: QB, OT, CB, WR, S)

QB Sam Howell, North Carolina

Steelers define consistency and don’t waste picks. Howell has the traits they like.

21. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (Needs: CB, RB, WR, S, DT)

WR Jahan Dotson, Penn St

Dotson raised his stock significantly, and makes an impression on New England.

22. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS (Needs: DT, WR, CB, EDGE, OT)

DT Perrion Winfrey, Oklahoma

Raiders make the smart decision to upgrade their D line. Winfrey is a rising star.

23. ARIZONA CARDINALS (Needs: CB, EDGE, TE, RB, OT)

OT Ikem Ekwonu, North Carolina State

Despite Booth being available, Ekwonu is a generational tackle, and Cards need OL help.

24. DALLAS COWBOYS (Needs: S, DT, LB, OT, OG)

S Jaquan Brisker, Penn St

Cowboys stick with a safety, as they look to add the missing piece to their defense.

25. BUFFALO BILLS (Needs: CB, DT, OG, RB, WR)

CB Andrew Booth, Jr, Clemson

Bills get a great corner at this pick and improve their defensive backfield.

26. TENNESSE TITANS (Needs: LB, WR, OG, TE, OC)

LB Nakobe Dean, Georgia

Titans stick with Dean and he’s a great fit for Vrabel’s defense.

27. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (Needs: RB, DT, CB, EDGE, OG)

DT Devonte Wyatt, Georgia

Bucs take the best D tackle still available. Wyatt’s draft stock is improving.

28. GREEN BAY PACKERS (Needs: WR, LB, OT, DT, EDGE)

WR Garrett Wilson, Ohio State

Packers get Rodgers the 1st rd weapon he’s been requesting for years.

29. CINCINNATI BENGALS (from MIA)(Needs: OT, OC, S, DT)

OT Trevor Penning, UNI

Bengals trade up to get Penning, who immediately improves their O line.

30. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (Needs: S, WR, EDGE, CB, TE)

WR Chris Olave, Ohio State

Chiefs snag a great weapon for Mahomes here at the tail end of the 1st.

31. MIAMI DOLPHINS (from CIN)(Needs: RB, OC, LB, OT, EDGE)

EDGE Jermaine Johnson, Florida

Johnson made a name for himself at the combine and Dolphins draft a game-changer.

32. DETROIT LIONS (SEE PREVIOUS PICK FOR NEEDS)

QB Desmond Ridder, Cincinnati

Ridder jumped Carson Strong on a lot of boards. Detroit gets their QB of the future.
