Milwaukee-area brewery/restaurant Bavarian Bierhaus has a “free beer until the Packers” special for every Green Bay Packers gameday.
Welp, that deal certainly backfired on Sunday.
The Packers were shut out for the first time since 2006 in a 23-0 loss to the Baltimore Ravens at Lambeau Field. That meant free beer for everybody at the Bavarian Bierhaus for the entire game.
The brewery’s general manager, Scott Bell, told TMJ4 (Milwaukee NBC affiliate) that they served around 275-300 free beers during the game.
