The Washington Capitals are throwing the world’s most epic trophy celebration. On Saturday night, over a full day after they claimed the Stanley Cup Thursday night and spent the night partying in Vegas, the team was still reveling.
The Capitals went to a Washington Nationals’ game Saturday afternoon, where captain Alex Ovechkin threw out the first pitch (and got it right on the second try) before giving a hilarious drunken interview alongside his teammates and continuing to drink and show off the Cup throughout the game.
