The Nationals' Mark Reynolds Gets A Rare Double Ejection

Veteran slugger Mark Reynolds wasn’t happy with the strike zone from home plate umpire Sam Holbrook during the Nationals’ game against the Phillies on Tuesday night in Philadelphia.

Reynolds struck out in the eighth inning after looking at three consecutive pitches that were called strikes, and naturally, he argued the calls with Holbrook. The argument led to Reynolds being ejected, and then he threw his batting gloves in the direction of Holbrook. And for a second time, Holbrook threw Reynolds out of the game.
